Description:
The left lobe of the liver can be examined in detail for metastases associated with upper gastrointestinal malignancies. These may be hypoechoic, isoechoic or hyperechoic in appearance. Here we demonstrate an example of a hyperechoic metastasis. A fine needle aspiration is performed.
