Having problems playing the clips?
If clips are not playing on your machine, check to see if Flash 9 (or greater) is installed on your system. If not, it can be located by any search engine.
Alternatively, you might try downloading the WMV file through QuickStuff or the podcast file via the iPod icon.
Is highspeed internet access required? What parts of the site can I use without broadband?
Much of the functionality of the site requires "broadband" internet access. However, if highspeed access is not available in your area, you can QuickStuff individual cases for downloading at dialup speed. QuickStuff is indicated by a floppy disk icon. QuickStuff allows you to download DAVE content as a zipped file for viewing off-line.

When I use "Quickstuff" the downloaded video clip will not play in PowerPoint. Am I doing something wrong?
No, you are not doing anything wrong. Real Player videos can not be easily embedded in PowerPoint files. Download the WMV version for this purpose.
Why did you choose Flash for the clips?
Flash is available without charge for all common operating systems, with plugin functionality for all major browsers. The video compression algorithms compare favorably with competitive formats.
